You might have noticed a small change on the Anglers Only website. 

A little information box has popped up just above the 'Add to Cart' button on all our product pages. 

It's a small thing and it might not have registered with you, but it's a pretty important update.

Now when you buy something, anything at all, 5% of that sale goes to charity.

That little box tells you exactly how much your purchase generates, and which charity we have selected to receive our donations right now.

The good news is you don't have to actually do anything. Everything just automatically happens in the background. You don't pay extra or anything like that. A portion of the sale just funnelled straight to our chosen charity. 

In other good news, we don't have to do anything about it either. It's all thanks to a clever widget made by an awesome company called Virtue. We just install it on our website and it does all the clever stuff for us. We just have to decide which charity to support. 

A while back we tried something similar. Problem was we had to manually make a note of the each qualifying sale, then tot everything up at the end of the month and remember to make the payment to charity.

Things like that are hard to keep on top of when you're running a small business. This way, everything is automated and we don't have to remember anything. 

It's also more transparent this way. You guys can see exactly how much we've raised for the causes we've chosen. We have a page outlining the causes we support here. There's also a donation tracker on our homepage, so it should always be easy to see what's going on!
