Aegis UPF50+ Sun Hoodie
The Aegis is a soft, stretchy and ultralight fishing hoodie packing in a mighty UPF50+ sun protection rating. When it's hot and sunny, your Aegis will keep you protected all day long. On any other day it makes for the perfect lightweight outer layer or base layer.
The ultra-smooth moisture-wicking material slides comfortably over your skin and the built-in thumbholes mean you can pull the sleeves over your hands and keep them in place for extra sun protection. The hood is deigned to maximise protection, with plenty of room for a hat underneath.
Available in a bunch of different colours, stylishly cut and finished with the Fin Up logo on the left chest and Anglers Only on the lower sleeve. Here's the full spec list:

Ordered this top to use for fishing on my kayak. Fast delivery and item looks awesome. Best of all it does its job, kept the sun off off me and quick drying. The hood is also handy to keep the sun off your neck.

I was originally looking to buy Fox Rage equivalent “Sun Protection “ hoody to get out and about “ on the bank “ throughout the summer and to wear on my 2 week trip travelling across Europe with the family and obviously wetting a line when the opportunity presents itself.
In relation to Anglers Only Aegis UPF50 + Sun Hoodie all I can say is that I’m blown away at the quality of this garment and how it performed once I tried it out.
I ordered an XL and the fit was true to size (Great Result For Me).
Whilst on the Canal bank the garment performed exemplary , I fished for 5 hours and the Temperature surpassed 25 degrees , the technical aspects of the jersey shone through keeping me cool especially in areas where I had no shade . An added bonus on my part is that whenever I’m fishing or near water I get attacked by Mosquitoes , the hood on the garment came into its own ( Result).
To say I’m over the moon with this item would be an understatement and I haven’t even mentioned the price of the garment , outrageously good , the Fox Rage equivalent is double the price .
Finally the Colour I purchased was Phantom and I’ve just looked to see if I can purchase another one and this colour in every size is sold out except for XXXL.. So it looks like Laguna blue for me next .

I'm not an angler, but have already found this sun hoodie fantastic for hiking. Have worn it for several hours on a hot, sunny day and it provided excellent protection from the sun without ever becoming sweaty and uncomfortable.
