Meet the Islander Snapback, new for summer 2026. It might just be your favourite new fishing cap.
The Islander is made from a blend of organic and recycled cotton, giving you that soft, worn-in feel. It’s got an unstructured 5-panel design, which means no rigid front panel, so it sits softer on the head, more relaxed, and just… easier. The flat visor keeps things clean and modern.
One of the coolest things about this hat is something you can’t see: the visor.
It’s made using recycled fishing nets; the kind that would otherwise end up drifting around in the ocean. It’s a small detail, but a meaningful one.
Elsewhere, you’ve got a recycled plastic snapback closure, also cool.
As usual, the branding is subtle, with a silicone Fin Up logo on the front and folded AO tag at the back. Clean lines, no unnecessary extras. And, as with all our gear, it should work just as well on the water as it does in a pub garden afterwards.
